Finding My Flow

I have practised yoga since I moved to London in 2011, learning at studios first in Hackney and later in Greenwich. I am trained in the tradition of vinyasa yoga, honouring the union of body, mind and spirit. In 2025, I completed a 200-hour vinyasa yoga teacher training at Yoga House London, comprising of asana, pranayama and meditation to the internationally recognised standards of Yoga Alliance.

For me, yoga is about having fun in our bodies and reconnecting with the beauty of the present moment. My teaching style is fun, joyous, sometimes quirky, and always welcoming.

Every time I hold Tree Pose and stretch my arms to the sky, I am thankful for yoga. Yoga classes are special moments we can connect, practice and share in this ancient tradition together. Yoga is versatile and adaptable; it can calm our minds and bodies while finding our tapas, our inner fire of strength and determination.

Before becoming a yoga teacher, I was a museum curator, published author and maritime historian. After acquiring a vestibular balance disorder in 2024, I had to realign my life away from the computer screen. Becoming a yoga teacher has been part of my own healing path, and I am honoured to share the gift of yoga with others.

Sending thoughts of peace to you and the world.
